Meet the owners
Brooke S. and Cortney V. (sisters) bought J&E ROOTBEER in the fall of 2022. We had our grand opening on December 3rd. 2022. Brooke received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership from Wright State University in 2022. Cortney had worked in the Madison Local School District as a cafeteria worker for six years. Our aim is to provide a collaborative work environment where our employees feel accepted, appreciated, and valued. Our mission is to continue the untapped legacy of Jack & Edna in providing great freshly prepared food and drink at a reasonable price.
Where it Began
J (Jack) and E (Edna) were the original owners that started the restaurant 35+ years ago.
Employee Spotlight
Featured in this video is Ellie Cole and Jaylyn Moore. They are both in their Senior year of High School. These two always put forth their best no matter what they do. They always wear a smile, even in the times they are under intense pressure. Both of them obtain steller work ethics, which will serve them well after graduation.
